Metalloinvest to spend 600 mln rbl on support of employees

MOSCOW, Apr 17 (PRIME) -- An emergency team of Russian mining company Metalloinvest will allocate 600 million rubles to support the employees, or 10,000 rubles per person, the company said in a statement on Friday.

"We take all necessary measures to protect the staff from the danger of virus disease contraction at the workplace,” CEO Andrei Varichev said as cited in the statement.

“At the same time, it is important for employees to provide necessary individual protection and disease prevention means to their families. We’ve decided to provide additional payments to compensate the unplanned spending."
